Concrete Quarterly: 2010-present

We produce Concrete Quarterly magazine four times a year on behalf of the Concrete Centre, a trade body that produces guidance on concrete design and construction.

We’ve worked on the magazine since 2010, during which time we’ve refreshed the design several times, expanded it from 16 to 24 pages, developed new formats for supplements and special issues, and launched a digital edition and, coming soon, an interactive website.

CQ was originally established in 1947 and has something of a cult status among architects, so we are conscious of a responsibility to live up to its legacy while keeping it fresh and meeting the aspirations of the Concrete Centre and its members.

We also provide ongoing support as needed on the Concrete Centre’s wider output – editing technical documents, for example, or sourcing images for publications or promotional material.
